In northern Överkalix, near the foot of Dirivaara Mountain, lies the Dirivaara Rock, also known as Lappstenen Rock. This mythical location is said to have been an ancient place of sacrifice, home to a treasure, guarded by a wolf that could transform into a dragon. Regardless of what you choose to believe, it’s an exciting historical site.
