Feel welcome to fish in Miekojärvi, the largest lake in Norrbotten, situated right on the border between Överkalix and Övertorneå municipality. The lake holds pike perch, pike, and perch.

You can drive here from Allsån, 16 kilometres. The road goes all the way to the end point where you can launch your fishing boat. If driving from Kalix, you go via Kypasjärvi-Svartträsk. The distance from Luleå to Miekojärvi is about 10 Swedish miles.
